About Competition
Training with an emphasis on performing the techniques correctly is the foundation for good development. Our style focuses on training the whole art form of karate, which is taken from a traditional model.
Many other clubs have now been developed towards a pure sport karate form. Even if only a small part of our general training is aimed at competition, there is every opportunity for those who train in our style to reach far in competition. Sanshin have a large number of active members in the national squad, and over the years has been presented with numerous medalists of all denominations at national and international level.
Our club in Södertälje over the years has been very successful at the largest children's and youth competitions in Sweden Karate Kid Cup and National Championship. Club representatives have a rich selection of all denominations medal.
