Soke Toshio Kaneta
10th Dan Shitoryu Motobu
Toshio Kaneta previously trained in the style of Goju Ryu under Okuyama Hirioshi, and in Ishimine Ryu under Ishimine Gensho.
Kaneta joined the Kunibas organisation, Seisin kai in Osaka.
Kaneta graduated to 6th Dan in 1970, and due to his high level of technical knowledge, he was appointed to the highest person responsible for the style's technical quality. In 1989 he was appointed 10th Dan and Soke, Seishinkai over eastern Japan.
In 1991 he was awarded by Shogo Kuniba, the right to form an own ryu / style. The Martial Arts Kaneta Association.
Toshio Kaneta continues the tradition and knowledge of the Seishin Kai Dojo, by training with traditional weapons (Kobudo) and sword (Iado).
